Sage Group Health Care Staffing is seeking Behavioral Registered Nurses for multiple travel/ contract positions in Hopkinsville, KY. Accepting both local and traveler candidates.

Contract Length: 13 weeks-Accepting Local and Travel Candidates
Pay Rate:
Range $1900 to $2052 weekly Gross pay (Non-taxable travel/housing and M&I stipend available for qualified/eligible travelers)
Unit: Inpatient mental health or behavioral health unit/s
Shift:
12 Hours;
Nights, 7p – 7.30a or Days, 7a - 7.30p
Schedule: 36 hours / week guaranteed, 3 shifts per week, Every other weekend,Blocked schedule available
Position Requirements- Registered Nurse: 2 years
- Required - Recent/Current Inpatient Acute Psychiatric Nursing or Behavioral health experience: 1 year – Required
- Recent/Current experience and comfortable working with Adolescents (4-18) and Adult patient populations
- Required
- ASN or an equivalent – Required
- BSN or an equivalent – Highly preferred
- RN License for State of KY or Compact
- Required - HWC (Handle with Care) Certification
- Preferred - BLS Certification from AHA or American Red Cross - Required
- Provide and coordinate care by assessing patients’ physical and behavioral health needs.
- Working in the assigned units including
Adolescents (4-18) and Adult Behavioral Health units. - Develop and implement nursing care plans.
- The RN will maintain medical records and educate patients and their families about various physical and behavioral health conditions.
- The RN will provide nursing careand services within the standards and scope of nursing practice as defined within the state Nurse Practice Act regulations, policies, procedures, and protocols, as well as facility and corporate policies and procedures.
- Ensure physicians’ orders are legible if taken verbally and transcribed appropriately per policy and procedure.
- Ensure patients’ status is assessed on an ongoing basis and pertinent information is gathered and documented.
- Notify physicians of significant changes in status
- The RN will ensure that initial nursing treatment plans are completed upon admission and that all nursing treatment plans are specific to assessed needs.
