Location:

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Test and inspect products at various stages of production process and compiles and evaluates statistical data to determine and maintain quality and reliability of products.
Use gauges and other devices to verify conformity to standards of product.
Suggest or recommend changes regarding special requirements as needed. Assists in implementing a total quality management program and/or trains others on total quality management.
Obtain samples of raw materials/finished products
Test all final products for conformance to specifications
Test incoming raw materials
Enter all results in database
Maintain clean/safe work area Responsible for all lab results and the quality of work performed
Identifies critical points in the manufacturing process and defines sampling procedure
Interacts regularly with engineering, manufacturing, and service functions to establish quality standards for raw material, work in process, and finished products
Complies with company policies and the Standards of Business Conduct Adheres to general and job specific safety, environmental, and quality guidelines/procedures
Performs other duties as assigned
Education/Experience - Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Two-year associates in Lab Tech program or higher education in Science preferred (Minimum High School Diploma/GED Required)
Or at least two years of experience in a laboratory or quality control area required
Must have complete knowledge on how to perform the following:
Basic use of glassware, balances, fume hoods, and standardized lab equipment
Basic mechanical aptitude in lab setting
Understanding of ASTM or similar methods
Good housekeeping practices
