What you’ll achieve
In this role we are looking for people who are passionate about data and the possibilities of leveraging it to power intelligent, insightful and impactful outcomes. You will be working with some of the best minds and talents in the data space including business stakeholders, architects, application teams, privacy, security, governance etc. We believe in empowering our teams and managers to take end to end ownership of the outcomes with the highest focus on quality, stability, security, and customer satisfaction.
You will:

Develop, build, and support relationships with key decision makers and influencers: including C-suite, enterprise architects, application developers and senior management in Dell Digital and business units.

Collaborate with peer group to create, maintain and regularly communicate an account technology plan and architecture, including current state, future state, conceptual/logical/physical design and roadmap.

Present and market the technical design and business value of proposed data strategy and solutions.

Responsible for selecting tools/technology and developing reference patterns for all aspects of data solutions including data acquisition, ingestion, storage, transformation, data virtualization and consumption.

Responsible for developing roadmaps and implementing plan around data science initiatives;
Review of existing solutions and recommending new patterns that are resilient and cost effective;
Innovate using contemporary data processing patterns, while simplifying existing footprint;
Develop business case and roadmaps to achieve modernization and simplification goals.

Essential Requirements

15+ years of relevant IT experience in Data Strategy, Large scale data and analytics platforms and technologies with excellent communication and analytical skills; distributed big data solutions, in the capacity of a software architect, solutions architect or engineering manager.

10+ years of acting as a change agent, entrepreneur or intrapreneur.

Experience with working at C-Suite level to build strategies for Enterprise Architecture.

Experience in understanding, designing and implementing production grade solutions on both on-premise and cloud-based data, analytics, and AI platforms.

Desirable Requirements

Bachelor of Engineering or Master of Computer Science or equivalent working experience.
