DC Assistant Supervisor - Shipping
O'Reilly Auto Parts invites you to lead daily outbound operations of the shipping/loading department at our distribution center. As a supervisor, you will maintain compliance, productivity, and safety while fostering high morale and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee all aspects of the shipping/loading department.
- Ensure daily compliance with company operations, policies, and procedures.
- Collaborate with operations and DC managers to maintain payroll figures, budgeting, and productivity.
- Perform scheduled evaluations of team members.
- Provide leadership, training, and guidance to maintain high productivity and morale.
- Establish annual goals and develop plans to achieve them.
- Partner with HR supervisor and operations manager to promote effective recruiting, hiring, and training.
- Assist in preparing annual capital expenditure budgets and securing approvals.
- Maintain safety standards and identify unsafe practices and situations.
- Complete any other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Excellent leadership abilities focused on customer service.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to read and match numerical and alpha characters quickly and accurately.
- Basic computer skills.
- College degree or logistics certification.
- 2+ years of previous supervisory experience.
- Completion of O'Reilly supervisor training program.
- Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).
- Advanced computer skills.
