Customer Service Associate - Temporary

Walgreens is hiring a temporary Customer Service Associate to support daily retail operations. The position offers flexible scheduling and is open until filled.

$15.00/hr – $17.50/hr

• Model and deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Greet customers and patients, offering assistance with products and services to ensure a positive experience.
• Register sales on assigned cash register, providing courteous, friendly, and efficient checkout service.
• Recommend items for sale, including trade‑up and companion items, and assist with photo services and web pick‑up orders.
• Provide customer service in the photo area, including digital passport photo service, poster print, and creative machine.
• Maintain counters and shelves clean and well‑merchandised, take inventory, and perform restocks using first‑in, first‑out.
• Implement company asset protection procedures to identify and minimize profit loss.
• Ensure compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products such as alcoholic beverages and tobacco.
• Construct and maintain displays, including promotional, seasonal, and super structures; complete resets and revisions as directed.
• Assist with separation of food items, product placement, and stock rotation per policies.
• Maintain working knowledge of store systems and equipment.
• Assume web pick‑up responsibilities and interior/exterior maintenance to ensure a clean, orderly store condition.
• Comply with all company policies and maintain respectful relationships with coworkers.
• Complete special assignments and other tasks as assigned.

• Attend training and complete PPLs requested by the Manager or assigned by corporate.

• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English. (Exception: Puerto Rico)
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

• Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prefer prior work experience with Walgreens.
