Summary The HVAC Services Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential, commercial, and/or industrial settings. This role ensures that systems operate efficiently, safely, and in compliance with all applicable codes and standards. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, detail-oriented, and skilled in diagnosing and resolving HVAC issues. What You’ll Do

· Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, boilers, and ductwork.

· Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC equipment.

· Diagnose system malfunctions and determine the most effective repair solutions.

· Calibrate thermostats, test electrical circuits, and ensure system efficiency.

· Maintain accurate service records, parts inventory, and job documentation.

· Communicate clearly with customers regarding service needs, repair options, and cost estimates.

· Ensure compliance with all safety procedures, building codes, and environmental regulations.

· Participate in on-call rotations for emergency service as required.

· Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure timely completion of projects.

Qualifications

· High school diploma or equivalent; technical/vocational training in HVAC systems preferred.

· EPA Section 608 Certification (Type I, II, or Universal) required.

· 2+ years of experience as an HVAC technician or in a related field.

· Strong knowledge of HVAC system design, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

· Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.

· Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

· Excellent communication and customer service skills.

· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various environments (indoor/outdoor, confined spaces, rooftops).
