Your New Role

As a Fiber Technician based in Horn Lake, MS
, and surrounding areas, you’ll handle critical fieldwork to install, splice, test, and maintain high‑performance fiber optic networks. Your work keeps people connected—and it shows.

  • Perform fusion and mechanical splicing of fiber optic cables with high precision

  • Use OTDRs, power meters, and light meters to test and troubleshoot fiber performance

  • Identify and repair signal loss, breaks, and connection issues in fiber infrastructure

  • Route, secure, and protect fiber installations in new and existing systems

  • Maintain clean and accurate records of all splicing, testing, and fieldwork

  • Ensure all work complies with safety standards, codes, and customer expectations

  • Adapt to working outdoors, in confined spaces, and in elevated locations when needed

  • Strong working knowledge of fiber optic splicing methods and tools

  • Experience using fusion splicing equipment, cleavers, and OTDRs

  • Sharp attention to detail and safety awareness in all tasks
