Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Overview

Our client is an established, international food related (FMCG) manufacturer based in the Thetford area. The company has 8 manufacturing operations in the UK and Europe and is one of the leading manufacturers in it's field with an annual turnover or £40 million, employing a loyal, dedicated and motivated team of around 80 staff.

A further Multi‑skilled Shift Engineer is required to join the engineering team of 6, working 4 on 4 off, 12 hour shifts.

Reporting directly to the Engineering Manager the Multi‑skilled engineer will be responsible for the following across the site:

• Providing both Reactive & Planned Preventative Maintenance
• Maintaining a variety of Production Machinery including Conveyors, Packaging Equipment, Weighing Machinery, Bagging Machinery, Labelling Equipment & Ovens
• Fault Finding both Electrically (PLC faultfinding) & Mechanically
• Assisting in the Installation of new machinery

• Multi‑skilled Maintenance Engineering Experience
• Relevant Mechanical/Electrical Qualifications
• Fault Finding Ability both Electrically & Mechanically
