Fluid Process Operator

We are currently recruiting for a Fluid Process Operator on behalf of our client based in Thetford. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing industrial team in a hands-on, safety-critical role with long-term potential.

As a Fluid Process Operator, you'll play a vital role in overseeing the production and refinement of fluids used in industrial processes. Your responsibilities will include monitoring and maintaining equipment, ensuring smooth operations, and following strict safety and quality standards.

Hours:

• Monday – Thursday: 15:00 – 23:30, and Friday: 14:00 – 21:30
• Training Shift: Monday – Thursday, 06:45 – 15:15, and Friday 06:45 - 14:15

• Operate machinery and equipment safely and efficiently
• Blend and mix raw materials to create finished products
• Set up and run proportioning pumps
• Handle bulk chemical deliveries
• Operate forklift truck (training provided if needed)
• Take product samples and carry out basic testing
• Record weights, measurements, and batch information
• Operate pump and valve systems
• Report any mechanical or chemical issues to the appropriate team
