This Graduate Teaching Assistant role is ideal for recent graduates with relevant qualifications looking to gain valuable classroom experience across Romford, Hornchurch, Upminster, Rainham, and the surrounding areas.

The Role: As a Graduate Teaching Assistant
, you ll be working with pupils who have a range of SEN including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and Speech & Language difficulties. This Graduate Teaching Assistant position offers the perfect opportunity to develop your skills in both 1:1 and small group settings while exploring a career in education or SEN.

• Supporting pupils with SEN across EYFS to KS2 in their learning and development
• Delivering targeted interventions under the guidance of experienced teachers
• Working with children who have EHCP plans to help them achieve their individual goals
• Assisting with behaviour management and promoting positive social interactions
• Preparing resources and adapting materials to meet diverse learning needs

What We re Looking For:

• A degree in Psychology, Education, or a related field (essential)
• Genuine passion for working with children with additional needs
• Strong communication skills and a proactive, positive attitude
• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
• Desirable:
  Any experience with children, whether voluntary, tutoring, or mentoring
