1-1 Teaching Assistant - Hornchurch School

Looking to recruit a compassionate and dedicated 1-1 Teaching Assistant to support a pre-verbal reception child with their communication, social interaction and emotional needs.

This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the child's school experience, learning and development.

To start 23rd February - Full Time Role - Monday - Friday (term time only)

• To provide personalised support for the pre-verbal student, helping them engage with the curriculum and classroom routines.
• Able to use visual aids, communication boards and other strategies ie PECS / Makaton to promote understanding and interaction.
• Support the child in developing social, emotional, and communication skills.
• Work closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and external specialists to implement individual learning plans.
• Happy to assist with personal care if needed
