SEN Teaching Assistant Havering ASAP Start £82.14-£100 per day

Reeson Education is working with a welcoming primary school in the borough of Havering to find a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant
. This SEN Teaching Assistant role is perfect for someone passionate about supporting children with additional needs across Romford, Hornchurch, Upminster, Rainham, and surrounding areas.

As a SEN Teaching Assistant
, you'll work closely with pupils who have a range of special educational needs, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and Speech & Language difficulties. This SEN Teaching Assistant position involves supporting children on a 1:1 basis and in small groups, helping them access the curriculum and thrive in their learning environment.

• Supporting pupils with SEN across EYFS to KS2
• Delivering tailored interventions and strategies for children with EHCP plans
• Working collaboratively with teachers and the SENCO
• Building positive relationships with pupils and promoting their social and emotional development
• Adapting resources and activities to meet individual learning needs

• Experience working with children with SEN in a school or educational setting
• A patient, nurturing approach with strong behaviour management skills
• Knowledge of strategies for supporting ASD, ADHD, SEMH, or Speech & Language needs
• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
• Desirable:
  Training in PECS, Makaton, or sensory strategies
