Job Title: 1:1 Teaching Assistant - SEMH / ASD Support (Year
2)
Location: Hornchurch, London Borough of Havering
Start Date: As soon as possible
Contract Type: Full-time, long-term (potential to become permanent)
Salary: 85-100 per day (dependent on experience)

We are seeking a calm, consistent, and resilient 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a bright and creative Year 2 pupil with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and traits of ADHD
.

They have effective systems in place, including weekly behaviour tracking and review meetings, to ensure consistent support and development for both staff and pupils.

• Experience in a similar 1:1 or SEN support role (essential).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
• Reliable, proactive, and committed to supporting pupil wellbeing and growth.
