Location:

Salary: £90 – £102 per day (Competitive rates based on PAYE and Umbrella options)

The Role
The school are seeking reliable and observant Exam Invigilators to join their team in Elm Park. This role is essential in upholding the integrity of external and internal examinations. You will play a key role in creating a calm, focused atmosphere for students, ensuring that JCQ regulations are strictly followed while providing a supportive presence in the exam hall.
Key Responsibilities
* Set up examination rooms according to official guidelines.
* Supervise students throughout the duration of exams to prevent malpractice.
* Assist with the distribution and collection of highly sensitive exam materials.
* Support students with access arrangements (e.g., acting as a reader or scribe for SEND pupils).
* Maintain a quiet and orderly environment, handling any queries or emergencies with composure.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
* Possess excellent attention to detail and a high level of integrity.
* Demonstrate strong communication skills and a calm, authoritative manner.
* Be punctual and reliable, with the flexibility to work during peak exam seasons.
* Show a commitment to safeguarding and student welfare.
* Previous experience in a school setting or as an invigilator is an advantage, but not essential as training will be provided.
