The Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and proactive Teaching Assistant to join the team in Elm Park. In this role, you will provide essential classroom support, working alongside teachers to facilitate a positive learning environment. You will assist in the delivery of lessons, help manage classroom dynamics, and provide targeted support to students to help raise attainment across the curriculum.

Key Responsibilities
 
* Support the Class Teacher in the preparation of resources and management of the classroom environment.
 
* Work with small groups or individual pupils to reinforce learning concepts and improve literacy and numeracy skills.
 
* Promote an inclusive learning environment, ensuring all students are engaged and motivated.
 
* Encourage positive behaviour and social development in line with school policies.
 
* Assist with the supervision of students during break times and school outings when required.

The Ideal Candidate Will:
 
* Have previous experience working with children or young people (ideally in a school or educational setting).
 
* Demonstrate strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students.
 
* Be adaptable, resilient, and ready to take initiative within the classroom.
 
* Hold a solid understanding of safeguarding and the importance of child welfare.
 
* Be a reliable team player with a positive, "can-do" attitude.
