Salary: MPS/UPS (Outer London) + £1,500 Harris Allowance

Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent

You will deliver high-quality teaching across the secondary level, including Key Stages 4 and 5, promoting a motivating and safe learning environment where every student can excel.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver effective, high-quality Psychology lessons at KS4 and KS5, ensuring the theory and practice of learning meet the needs of all students.

  • Monitor and assess student progress, using data to provide constructive feedback and ensure high levels of academic achievement.

  • Act as a Form Tutor, providing pastoral support and maintaining positive relationships with students, parents, and carers.

  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative resources and curriculum plans, including the creative use of ICT and Interactive Whiteboards.

  • Foster an inclusive environment, managing your classroom effectively to ensure safety, motivation, and high standards of behavior.

Requirements:

  • Hold QTS (or equivalent) and a relevant undergraduate degree.

  • Successful teaching experience at secondary level (teaching practice included), ideally in a multi-ethnic urban 11-18 setting.

  • Strong knowledge of National Curriculum requirements, lesson planning, and student assessment.

  • Excellent communication, time management, and ICT skills.
