About the Early Years Teaching Assistant Role

As an Early Years Teaching Assistant in Havering, you may be:

• Supporting whole-class learning in Reception
• Working 1:1 with a pupil requiring additional support
• Assisting with phonics sessions and guided reading
• Supporting learning through indoor and outdoor provision
• Helping monitor progress in line with EYFS expectations
