Position: Commercial Lead - Fit Out Projects
Commercial Lead – Fit Out Projects – Leeds – Up to £60,000

A growing refurbishment contractor is looking to appoint a Commercial Lead to take ownership of the commercial performance across multiple live projects. This Commercial Lead role offers direct exposure to the Managing Director and full responsibility for cost control, contract administration and margin protection.

This is a hands-on Commercial Lead position, combining strategic oversight with practical Quantity Surveying duties across school and office refurbishments.

Key responsibilities

* Commercial management of fit out and refurbishment projects under Joint Contracts Tribunal (JCT) contracts

* Cost control, margin protection and commercial risk management

* Valuations, variations and subcontractor management

* Budget management using SimPRO

* Tender support and commercial input into bids

* Margin analysis and profitability reporting

Key requirements

* Experience as a Commercial Lead, Commercial Manager or Senior Quantity Surveyor

* Strong knowledge of Joint Contracts Tribunal (JCT) contracts

* Fit out or refurbishment project experience

* Experience with valuations, variations and final accounts

* Familiarity with SimPRO or similar systems
