Part time – 2 days a week – 8:00am to 5:00pm

The role of the MOT Tester is to undertake Class IV MOT tests to government standards.

• Undertaking Class IV MOT tests adhering to strict DVSA/government guidelines
• Report additional faults requiring attention
• Complete a full write up of work completed
• Ensure all documentation is completed promptly
• Maintain tools (own or company) in a safe and clean condition
• Ensure that all requirements of Harwoods health and safety procedures are maintained
• Maintain and report on all DVSA standards

• Hold the relevant MOT Tester qualification
• Relevant City & Guilds, BTEC or NVQ accreditation
• Competency in numeracy, literacy and IT
• Energy and enthusiasm
• Full UK driving licence
• Smart appearance

Desirable:
Relevant manufacturer experience
