This is a self-employed position - covering Surrey & Sussex

Windows and Doors Surveyor

Main purpose of job:
Undertake comprehensive site surveys for Windows and Doors, domestic and commercial

Role/Tasks & Responsibilities:

To attend appointments booked into the diary via the Operations team
Undertake comprehensive surveys for windows, doors, bi-folds, French, patios, front doors, lanterns, conservatories and various roofs
Report back to Operations if any amendments or additional costs are involved
Carry out risk assessments and produce a scope of works for all projects.
Take photographs of all elevations where works are being carried out and clearly highlight any defects or access issues.
Produce working drawings/details where necessary for the installers.
Advise any site issues, defects or potential hazards to the installations department.

Skills and Attributes:

Be able to undertake surveys for uPVC windows and doors and for Aluminium products.
Must have reasonable understanding of lintel and steelwork installations.
Must be reliable, punctual, an excellent communicator and smart appearance.
Must be IT literate and able to send/receive documents and details

Qualifications and

Experience:

Minimum 2 years experience in the field (5 years fenestration preferred)
Be experienced in dealing with bespoke projects and building relationships with domestic customers and builders
Have a good understanding of Health and Safety regulations
Be experienced in Microsoft Office programmes and have good general computer knowledge

Salary: £40,000.00 per year / Pro Rata
