Key Responsibilities:

In this role, you'll take ownership of the service function, including:

Scheduling and allocating work for Field and Workshop Engineers

Planning and coordinating all PPM and statutory inspections

Logging, prioritising, and managing breakdowns and defect reports

Ordering, tracking, and managing spare parts from suppliers

Keeping the Hire Desk and customers updated on repair progress and downtime

Maintaining accurate service, maintenance, and compliance records

Ensuring all work meets Health & Safety and industry standards

Processing job sheets, checking labour hours, and handling service invoices

What we're looking for:

To succeed as a Service Controller, you'll ideally have:

Experience on the hire or service side of a plant hire business, or a closely related industry

A background working as a controller within engineering, service, or maintenance operations

Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise effectively

Confident communication skills when dealing with engineers and customers
