The planning team works on a broad mix of projects, from major residential, commercial, and leisure developments to smaller, interesting rural schemes—ensuring no two days are ever the same.
The Role:Due to continued growth, the business is seeking a Senior Planner to join its established and experienced team, based from the Pulborough office.
This is a rare opportunity to lead planning projects from start to finish, managing your own caseload and client relationships rather than operating in a purely support role. You will be trusted to shape planning strategies, negotiate with local authorities, and deliver positive outcomes, with access to expertise across the wider business.
Key Requirements:- Degree in Planning or a related discipline accredited by the Royal Town Planning Institute
- Chartered Member of the RTPI
- Relevant experience in development planning or development management (ideally private sector)
- Strong technical knowledge and understanding of current planning policy and practice
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Confident managing projects independently while working collaboratively
- Proactive, organised, and commercially aware approach
- Full UK driving licence and access to a car
- Permanent right to work in the UK
