Senior Design Engineer (Mechanical Biased)

Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 DOE

Bennett and Game are exclusively partnering with an established Manufacturer in West Sussex who are actively seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join their established team.

Our client is looking for an established Design Engineer who will take ownership of machine design projects from concept through to manufacture, supporting customer projects, product development, R&D, and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Design and develop machinery for manufacture using Solid Works
• Produce build manuals, user manuals, testing and statutory documentation
• Support R&D and cost reduction projects
• Carry out equipment testing, occasionally with customers present
• Work closely with Mechanical Design and Control & Automation Engineers

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Strong Solid Works skills (EPDM Vault experience advantageous)
• Good understanding of pneumatic systems
• Industry knowledge of Packaging, End of line production, FMCG Manufacturing
• Proactive, detail-oriented and able to work collaboratively

• £55,000-£65,000 DOE
• West Sussex location (close to mainline rail links)
• 35‑hour week with flexibility when required
