Due to planned growth, we are recruiting an ambitious Site Setting Out Engineer to join our existing project team onsite in Horsham. You will be joining a successful and developing site team on the new phase of long-term works. You will be an experienced setting out engineer with site-based experience with exposure to varied civil engineering projects. Natta can provide training and educational support as well as a clear career progression for the right candidate.
Responsibilities- To design and maintain site’s primary control network
- To deliver procure and deliver setting out information on site / undertake surveys
- To ensure that works are to a high standard, to reduce snags and to further the opportunity of repeat work from clients.
- To manage site staff and provide technical advice/assistance where required
- Basic Site management including client interaction
- Attend site meetings and report on progress
- Liaising with the project manager on any other issues

- Working with some of the industry’s leading experts with over 45 years of continuous trading experience
- Civil engineering degree (ideally) or HND/HNC Qualification or Equivalent
- Surveying or engineering background and experience
- Proficient in Auto CAD 2D, Microsoft Office, Leica total stations (1-man kit) and GNSS equipment, Levelling equipment
- Ideally, but not essential - experience working with the latest Trimble GPS modelling for excavators
- CSCS card – SMSTS/SSSTS – First Aid - (ideal but not essential – TWS/TWC, CSCS Gold and above, confined spaces,)
- Full UK driving licence – essential
- Right to work in the UK - all documents will be checked
