Live in Care Support Worker

Overview

We are seeking two compassionate and dedicated live-in care assistants to join our team. The successful candidates will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals in care homes or receiving home care services. We are looking for two live in care assistants for a live in position in West Chiltington, West Sussex

• Personal Care:
  Assisting with daily hygiene routines, including washing, bathing, dressing, grooming, and continence support.
• Companionship:
  Offering emotional support, engaging in conversation, and participating in shared activities or hobbies like singing or puzzles.
• Household Management:
  Carrying out light domestic tasks such as cleaning, laundry, ironing, and changing bed linen.
• Nutrition:
  Planning and preparing nutritious meals according to dietary requirements and preferences.
• Medication & Health:
  Administering or prompting medication, monitoring health changes, and recording daily observations.
• Mobility Support:
  Helping clients move safely around the home or using specialist equipment like hoists.

• Must be compassionate and caring
• Must have the right to work in the UK (we are not able to provide sponsorship)
• Must have at least 2-3 years experience in providing live in care
• Excellent communication skills
• Attention to detail to identify health changes in their clients
• Ability to remain calm in stressful situations.
• 3 weeks on 3 weeks off
• 10 hours of respite per week (Monday - Friday)

£800 per week
