VIQU are supporting a leading enterprise organisation to join their project team within a reshaped Modern Workplace function, supporting a portfolio of initiatives across cloud, infrastructure, collaboration, and corporate services. The Modern Workplace Project Manager will take ownership of delivering technology and business change, with a particular focus on M365, AI, and cloud transformation projects in a highly governed environment. This is a key succession hire, offering a clear pathway into a senior Programme Manager position.

Key Responsibilities of the Modern Workplace Project Manager
  • Lead a large-scale laptop refresh programme using Microsoft Autopilot for cloud-based devices
  • Deliver Modern Workplace initiatives, including AI rollouts, Copilot readiness, chat-based communication platforms, Active Directory enhancements, and M365 improvements
  • Support broader Modern Workplace transformation projects, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned to existing service architecture
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, managing stakeholders across IT and the wider business with credibility and authority
  • Plan, track, and report on project delivery, budgets, and milestones, ensuring compliance with governance, cyber security, and quality standards
  • Define and apply the most suitable delivery methodology (Waterfall, Agile, or Hybrid) for infrastructure projects
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of Modern Workplace delivery frameworks and operational standards
Key Requirements of the Modern Workplace Project Manager
  • Strong technical background with hands‑on Modern Workplace experience (M365, Autopilot, Intune, Entra , cloud‑first environments)
  • Proven track record of delivering Modern Workplace projects within high‑pressure, change‑driven, or regulated environments
  • Technically credible and confident, able to influence and challenge senior stakeholders
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication skills, and gravitas at all levels
  • Experience in infrastructure lifecycle, systems integration, service design, cutover planning, and vendor management
  • Resilient, authoritative, and capable of operating in politically sensitive environments
