Metal Polisher

We’re currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established metal finishing specialist based in the Horsham area. Known for delivering high-quality polishing and surface finishing across a wide range of metals. They are looking to hire a full time, experienced Metal Polisher to join their team.

Job Duties:

Polishing & finishing a wide variety of metal parts to a very high standard. Creating all common finishes like mirror, super mirror, bright and satin / brushed on all metals.
Using a combination of power tools, fixed spindles & belt linishers
Using computer software to track & update jobs throughout the process
Working to specifications and drawings
General workshop maintenance

Requirements:

Have at least 3 years previous employment as a Metal Polisher.
Have experience using both fixed spindle machines & hand held polishers
Have good eye sight and the ability to work in very fine detail.
Ideally have worked across multiple sectors, auto/marine, engineering, pharma, medical, food, architectural.
Be able to produce high mirror polished finishes on all metals as well as satin and brushed finishes on stainless steel, brass and aluminium.
Be organised, self motivated and able to work at pace without compromising quality.
Have their own reliable transport, this is essential due to rural location, free parking is available.
