$80,000 – $90,000 per year

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Staff/Senior Accountant in Horsham, PA. This role is a key member of the finance team, reporting to the Controller, and supports day‑to‑day accounting operations and month‑end close. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, hands‑on, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment with strong ownership over core accounting processes.

• Manage customer invoicing and full A/P cycle, including coding, approvals, and payments
• Prepare and post monthly journal entries (accruals, prepaids, reclasses)
• Complete balance sheet reconciliations and maintain general ledger accuracy
• Support month‑end and year‑end close, including variance analysis and reporting
• Assist with cash management, bank reconciliations, and deposit tracking
• Help prepare financial statements and audit support schedules
• Support payroll processing and record payroll‑related journal entries
• Assist with tax filings and coordinate with external advisors as needed
• Contribute to ad hoc accounting projects and process improvements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 2+ years of accounting experience (public or corporate)
• Experience with accounting systems (e.g., Quick Books, Net Suite) and strong Excel skills
• Solid understanding of GAAP and month‑end close
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
