Insight Global is seeking a Project Accountant to support an MEP contractor on a hybrid schedule in Horsham, PA.

Must Haves

• 5-10 Years of Project Accounting Experience
• Experience managing at least 20 million in budget
• Project Accounting experience must come from a construction subcontracting background
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
• Experience with Cost Plus software
• Computer proficiency and technical aptitude with intermediate to expert level ability to utilize MS Word, Excel, Power Point, etc. required

Day-to-day:

• Senior Project Accountant is responsible for coordinating all phases of the construction job costing process including categorizing, recording, analyzing and monitoring costs and billings associated with a large construction project as well as several smaller less complex projects. This position also assures vendor compliance in order to manage project risk.
• Serves as mentor and provides training to or supervise less-experienced Project Accountants
• Compiles, prepares and analyzes monthly project billings per contract requirements
• Performs financial analysis and reconciliation of project costs versus project budget
• Manages vendor compliance, insurance, lien waivers, retention and W-9s
• Produces and analyzes job performance and profitability through jobs cost tracking reports
• Assists in preparation of status reports and maintains accurate project statuses and budget information in COINs
• Identifies and resolves basic and more complex project-related accounting issues and resolves in a timely manner
