Sofidel America is seeking an Accounts Payable Lead to support accounts payable and core accounting operations, with a strong focus on hands‑on execution, financial accuracy, internal controls, and timely month‑end close activities. The Accounts Payable Lead works closely with Finance, Treasury, SAP, and VIM teams to ensure continuity during month‑end close and audit‑related activities.
Key Responsibilities- Perform accounting reconciliations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and transitory accounts.
- Manage and execute payment runs to ensure timely and accurate vendor payments.
- Provide operational support for month‑end close activities.
- Perform clearing activities and actively monitor and resolve open items.
- Coordinate closely with SAP and VIM teams to ensure proper invoice processing and posting.
- Manage and reconcile corporate credit card transactions and statements.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and accounting standards.
- Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and explanations as needed.
- Identify and support process improvements related to accounts payable and accounting operations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of progressive experience in accounts payable or accounting operations.
- Hands‑on experience supporting month‑end close and reconciliations.
- Working knowledge of SAP and VIM strongly preferred.
- Experience with payment processing and invoice workflows.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively with cross‑functional and international teams.
- Strong communication and problem‑solving skills.
