Automotive Mechanics – Mavis Tire

Automotive Mechanics at Mavis Tire is a full‑time position at one of our state‑of‑the‑art automotive service and tire sales centers in the Dresher, PA area. With over 2,000 retail locations, Mavis is one of the largest tire sales and automotive repair chains in the United States.

As a key member of our team, you will inspect, diagnose, and perform a wide variety of automotive services on customers’ vehicles. Your duties include undercar repairs such as brakes, struts, and shocks; completing state‑mandated inspections; changing oil and filters; checking fluids; replacing worn parts; and dismounting, mounting, rotating, and balancing tires.

• Required:
  
  at least 18 years old
  , legally authorized to work in the United States, 2 years of experience and/or training in automotive repair and maintenance (or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience), and an extensive toolbox of personal tools for undercar repairs.
• Preferred: state inspection license(s) and ASE certifications in Automotive Maintenance and Light Repair (G1), Suspension and Steering (A4), and Brakes (A5).

The role requires frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, climbing, pulling, and reaching. Repetitive movements consistent with vehicle maintenance and automotive repair are common, and you must regularly lift or move items weighing over 50 pounds.
