Position Summary

The Sr. Motion Graphics Designer will drive the visual storytelling of the brand and have a passion for creating captivating animations that engage audiences. In this role, the Sr. Motion Graphics Designer will be responsible for conceptualizing and executing innovative motion graphics for a variety of projects, including digital media, advertising campaigns, and video content.

Job Responsibilities
  • Drive the creative team to conceptualize and brainstorm ideas
  • Drive preparation, attendance, and contributions to all planning & development meetings for assigned projects
  • Understands and applies our standardized creative process to deliver motion graphics (Style frames, storyboarding, animatic, production, rendering, editing/compositing)
  • Integrates with and bridges communications throughout department
  • Influential voice throughout creative development + production process
  • Brings fresh and creative ideas/references/mood boards to brainstorms and pitch meetings
  • Receives, interprets, and applies leadership feedback in a timely and effective manner
  • Stays up-to-date on industry trends, new technologies, and emerging design techniques
  • Efficiently manages time to meet project deadlines and deliver high-quality work
  • Prioritizes tasks and projects based on urgency and importance
  • Conduct thorough reviews of animations to identify and correct errors or inconsistencies
  • Ensure that the final product meets quality standards and client expectations
  • Provide mentorship and leadership for Motion Graphics Designer and Jr. Motion Graphics Designer

Education and Experience
  • Advanced graphic design skills.
  • Skill in creating storyboards to plan and visualize motion sequences.
  • Ability to translate concepts into a sequential narrative.
  • Advanced understanding of Adobe (After Effects, Premiere, Photoshop, Illustrator) /Mac OS.
  • Advanced experience using Cinema 4D and Redshift Render.
  • Advanced experience in Compositing Live Action Footage and 3D Renders.
  • Advanced knowledge of rendering and exporting processes.
  • Advanced knowledge of keyframe animation, motion paths, and easing.
  • Ability to design and manipulate vector graphics.
  • Advanced experience working with Project Management tools (Asana).
  • Advanced experience working within a team‑based media asset management environment (Iconik).
  • Advanced in 2D and 3D animation techniques.
