Dental Assistant Job Description
We are hiring dental assistants now for part-time and full-time positions! This mobile practice travels to senior care facilities to provide dental and hygiene services on-site at the facility. Compensation is per day, days are typically either 8 or 10 hours. Mileage and tolls are reimbursed.
Base Pay Range$22.00/hr - $26.00/hr
Salary$22.00 - $26.00 per hour
Dental Assistant Responsibilities- Assist the dentist with dental procedures.
- Prepare the patient for dental procedures.
- Prepare equipment and instruments for use during dental procedures.
- Follow sterilization and safety procedures while assisting in dental procedures.
- Clean, disinfect, and store equipment used during dental procedures.
- Transport equipment and supplies to and from clinic sites.
- Must hold current x-ray certification with a minimum of 2 years of experience in dental assisting.
- Must enjoy working with elderly patients. Geriatric experience is a plus but not required.
- Must be willing and able to transport equipment in your own personal vehicle. A standard 4 door sedan is large enough for everything, but an SUV or crossover may be preferable.
- 8 hour shift
- 10 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
