Teachers Assistant

St Catherine Of Siena Preschool in Horsham, PA (Montgomery County) is seeking a Full-Time Preschool Teacher’s Assistant for the 2025 – 2026 school year

** Job Detail**

Monday through Friday: 8:00 AM to 3:00PM

The primary purpose of the Preschool Teacher’s Assistant is to supervise, interact with, and engage with three- and four-year-old students in a classroom and playground setting.

Duties Include:

• Supervise the preschool students at all times to ensure safety and healthy interaction with other students
• Organize and lead daily activities for the preschool students
• Assist the preschool students with daily activities such as arts and crafts, indoor learning centers, and afternoon snack
• Supervise the preschool students during gross motor activities: playing on playground equipment, riding bicycles, and taking walks as a group

_Requirements:_**

• High school diploma, or equivalent required

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a child-care facility or preschool

• Copies of updated clearances (FBI fingerprint, Child Abuse, and Criminal Background) will be required upon hiring

• CPR / AED certification (preferred)

• This full-time opportunity is a benefits-eligible position.

** If the position is offered, the candidate will be required to complete the “Protecting God’s Students” training through the Archdiocese of Philadelphia within one month of hire.
