Senior Hardware Technician

Comm Scope is looking to add a Senior Hardware Technician to join our team. This onsite role is located at our Horsham, PA facility.

Reporting to our Senior Manager of Hardware Engineering for our Access Technology Group, this position is responsible for following schematics, redlines, and assembly drawings to assist in troubleshooting and debug of analog and digital circuits.

The Access Technology RF Design Engineering group owns the design and development of Hybrid‑Fiber‑Coax (HFC) and Fiber Optic products for the support of CATV and Data services. The group consists of hardware engineers and technicians developing RF and optical signal distribution products.

• Experience following schematics, redlines and assembly drawings to assist in troubleshooting and debug.
• Experience with soldering and reworking of Printed Circuit Boards and products.
• Experience with equipment including but not limited to Spectrum Analyzers, Network Analyzers, Oscilloscopes, power meters, bench power supplies, multimeters etc.
• Capable of working in a team environment as well as under the direction of a lead engineer.

• Familiarity with RF and / or optical circuit designs.
• Knowledge of broadband RF or products relating to CATV architectures
• Familiarity with metal fabrication equipment and its operation including vertical end mill, drill press, engine lathe, comparator, etc.
