Are you a skilled Paralegal seeking a challenging opportunity in the legal sector? My law firm client is looking for a full-time Paralegal specializing in General Liability Litigation with a focus on insurance defense work. This is a hybrid position and is open due to growth.

Responsibilities:

• Independently oversee the subpoena process, including assessing and summarizing discovery responses and medical records.
• Coordinate Independent Medical Examinations (IMEs), including arranging, notifying, confirming, and managing records.
• Maintain a meticulous calendar of pertinent deadlines, showcasing strong follow-up capabilities.
• Draft basic motions, such as motions to compel, sanctions, for extraordinary relief, and motions to enforce subpoenas.
• Conduct searches for verdicts, dockets, and perform social media and background investigations as required.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in Litigation, with a preference for expertise in insurance defense work.
• Proficiency in navigating a fast-paced work environment with exceptional organizational prowess.
• Ability to operate independently with keen attention to detail.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with legal databases and software is advantageous.
