This position is located at our Horsham, PA engineering design, electronics assembly, and metal manufacturing facilities. Job Description:
This position serves as a primary point of contact between production personnel and vendors to reduce downtime of large plant equipment. The Maintenance Technician will have a range of responsibilities from changing light bulbs to repairing complex industrial equipment
Responsibilities:
- Perform and maintain schedule of facilities maintenance tasks, from light bulbs, HVAC filters, repairing leaking toilets etc.
- Assist with production where required dependent upon current throughput constraints.
- Schedule and keep vehicle feet in good working order including box trucks, truck, forklifts
- Track supplies and maintain stock of common consumables required for facilities maintenance.
- Ensure compressed air systems, dust collection units, and exhaust systems are functioning properly
- Perform work within the perimeters of the company policies and procedures.
- Willingness to learn and receive training on complex equipment such as Trumpf laser, HASS milling machines etc.
- Diagnose and suggest fixes for shop equipment
Requirements:
- Ability to operate a forklift and scissor lift.
- Ability to work with minimal direction or supervision.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Ability to interpret prints, technical drawings is a plus.
- Ability to stand for 2+ hours.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
