Tax Associate

• Conduct tax interviews with clients face‑to‑face and through virtual tools such as video, phone, chat, and email.
• Prepare complete and accurate federal and state tax returns.
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services.
• Provide clients with IRS support and guidance.
• Support office priorities through teamwork and collaboration.
• Grow your tax expertise by learning new tax laws and receiving ongoing training.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field (preferred).
• Previous experience in a customer service or retail environment (preferred).
• Experience working in a fast‑paced, supportive environment.
• Minimum of 25‑35 hours weekly during tax season and up to 40 hours during peak weeks.
• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or Income Tax Course.
• Experience working in a fast‑paced environment.
• Comfort using virtual tools such as video, phone, and chat.
• Ability to effectively communicate in person, via phone, and in writing.
• Must meet all other IRS and applicable state requirements.
• High school diploma / equivalent or higher (required).
