*** We are currently seeking a talented individual to become a Mutuel Teller.  An individual could be successful if they possess the following.
** ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
** The Mutuel Teller is responsible for selling and cashing pari-mutuel tickets. Always presents a friendly and professional image at Oaklawn Hot Springs, Arkansas.  The following and other duties may be assigned as necessary:
* Cashes tickets and pays out money after verification of win utilizing the Cash Count Back Procedure. Enters customers' transactions into computer to record transactions, and issues computer generated receipts.
* Orders daily supply of cash, and counts incoming cash.
* Balances currency, coin, and checks in cash drawer at end of shift and compares totaled amounts with data displayed on computer screen.
* Provides vouchers, results, and summaries as requested.
* Maintains a working knowledge of Probe procedures and troubleshooting.
* Regular punctual attendance
* Ability to work required overtime
* Previous cash handling experience.
* Excellent customer service and communication skills.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced and high volume environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness
* Good understanding of horse race betting desired.
* Other duties as assigned
** QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

* Prior mutuel teller experience is preferred
* Must be reliable to work as scheduled
* High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
** CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
*** Must be able to obtain and maintain an Arkansas Racing License.
* Must successfully complete C.T.R.
