Infrastructure & Capital Projects‑ Senior Project Control Specialist, ANS
This role is a key member of Accenture Infrastructure & Capital Projects. You will help develop and deliver large‑scale factories, grids, transit systems, and public infrastructure that keep communities moving. You will work with project managers, engineers, technologists, and strategists who blend real‑world experience with digital innovation and AI to transform how capital projects are planned, managed, and executed.
Responsibilities- Generate and maintain a master project schedule in Primavera P6, implementing best practices and supporting leadership in schedule, cost, risk, change, contract management, and reporting.
- Perform rigorous independent project assessments within the client’s portfolio to ensure compliance with enterprise standards and implementation guides.
- Conduct training on client standards and project controls disciplines such as Quantitative Risk Analysis (QRA).
- Assist in analysis, optimization, and reporting on the project portfolio, including risk assessments tied to completing planned scopes within multi‑year budget plans.
- Develop and maintain WBS, identifying, analyzing, and documenting schedule and cost variances between planned and earned/actual progress.
- Support Gate Reviewer analysis by providing data on cost, schedule, progress, risk, and processes.
- Analyze contractor schedule data to identify key project issues, verify progress, review performance trends, and support invoice reviews.
- Collaborate with project managers to identify, characterize, and document project risks in a risk register and develop mitigation plans.
- Facilitate and manage the Change Management process, tracking and documenting approved changes throughout the lifecycle.
- Create project portfolio performance metrics and reports, working both in office settings and at client field sites.
- Work onsite at client sites to deliver and cultivate client relationships.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, project management, or related field OR 6 years equivalent/related work experience.
- Minimum 4 years experience in capital project controls on process industry projects of $300M+ with direct experience in project scheduling.
- Desired: 4 years experience on utility new generation projects with direct scheduling experience for a utility/owner or EPC.
- 5+ years experience in capital project management and/or project controls.
- Experience with large‑scale capital projects and EPC contracts.
- Certifications from PMI and/or AACEi.
- Proficiency in schedule software such as Primavera, Microsoft Project, Acumen Fuse, Risk Analysis.
- Ability to create project and portfolio performance metrics using standardized dashboards.
- Experience working on construction site, engineering office, fabrication sites, and with EPC contracts.
$82,000 – $115,000 per year (based on location and experience).
