As the Chief Medical Physicist at CHI St Vincent Hot Springs, you will be an integral part of our healthcare team, working closely with radiation oncologists, radiologists, and other medical professionals to ensure the safe and effective delivery of radiation therapy and imaging services. You will maintain the highest standards of quality, accuracy, and patient safety in all aspects of medical physics.
- Provides radiological physics and dosimetry services as prescribed by the Radiation Oncologist
- Provides accurate computerized treatment planning support as required
- Participates in designing, controlling, and updating all external beam and brachytherapy procedures performed
- Participates in the acceptance, calibration, and beam data control for equipment
- Oversees daily, monthly, and yearly calibration of equipment
We are offering a $25,000 sign‑on bonus, relocation assistance, and an excellent benefits package.
Job Requirements- Masters degree in Radiological Physics or PhD in Radiological Physics
- Five (5) years experience as a Medical Radiation Physicist
- Experience as a radiation safety officer (RSO)
- Experience in implementation of new technology and Varian equipment
- Board Certification by the A or ABMP
- Named on an Agreement State or NRC license as RSO or assistant RSO within the last 7 years for radioactive materials
