Responsibilities- Perform and oversee quality assurance and quality control procedures for radiation therapy and imaging equipment.
- Collaborate with radiation oncologists and radiologists to develop treatment plans and imaging protocols.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards related to radiation therapy and diagnostic imaging.
- Implement and maintain radiation safety procedures to protect patients, staff, and the public.
- Troubleshoot and address technical issues related to equipment and treatment planning systems.
- Stay current with advancements in medical physics and technology and participate in continuing education.
- Master’s Degree in Medical Physics required.
- Board eligible or certified by the A in Therapeutic Medical Physics.
- Knowledge of radiation therapy procedures and best practices.
- 3-5 years of clinical experience preferred.
- Experience with Linac-based SRS and SBRT preferred.
- Experience with Linear Accelerators, Aria, and Eclipse preferred.
