Employment:
Part-time, Day shifts (PRN).
The Respiratory Therapist reports to the Respiratory Market Director and performs critical thinking, decisive judgment, and independent work in a high-pressure environment. Responsibilities include delivering routinely delegated therapy, responding to codes and emergent calls, assessing patient conditions, administering treatments, monitoring and recording patient status, educating patients and families, managing respiratory care supplies and medical gas cylinders, maintaining equipment, and performing cleaning, sterilization, and preventive maintenance.
The position requires adherence to healthcare regulations such as HIPAA and application of relevant policies and procedures. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.
- Registered Respiratory Care Therapist with a valid and current Arkansas Board of Respiratory Care license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within one month from hire/transfer date.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required within six months from hire/transfer date.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required within six months from hire/transfer date.
