Garvan Woodland Gardens, a 210‑acre botanical garden situated on a peninsula surrounded by scenic Lake Hamilton in Hot Springs, AR is seeking a skilled and dedicated Visitor Services Cashier. The Visitor Services Cashier will be responsible for greeting guests, checking in guests, taking funds, and balancing the point of sale system s position will also serve as a guest docent by driving golf cart tours and giving a scripted explanation of the garden spaces.

The team member will be expected to work well with others and ensure a positive guest experience. Part‑time, up to 32 hours a week, including weekends and nights during Holiday Lights (mid‑November to Dec 31). This part‑time, temporary position is limited to the 1250‑hour University of Arkansas policy. The campus is a non‑smoking facility. A valid driver’s license is required.

Some night and weekend work will be required seasonally. Regular, reliable, and non‑disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.

Minimum Qualifications:

• The formal education equivalent of a high school diploma
• Customer Service Experience
• Valid Driver’s License

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience collecting money for payment
• Experience taking funds and balancing point of sale systems
