Urgent! Part-Time Primary Level English Teacher (Mondays

We are an education centre located in Ang Mo Kio & Hougang, looking for a passionate and experienced part‑time Primary level English Teacher to join us!

All Materials and Training will be provided. Back to back classes arranged. Maximum of 8 students a class.

The shortlisted candidate must have relevant classroom teaching experience. Please indicate the subjects and levels you have taught in your resume.

Hourly rates:
Starting from $35/hr
Commencement: 31st August 2026 (Take over existing classes from another Teacher)

Location: 678 Hougang Avenue 8

1. P2 Excel in English (Mon, 4-5.30pm)

2. P5 Excel in English (Mon, 5.30-7.30pm)

• Deliver engaging and interactive Math lessons in accordance with Star Champs’ curriculum for students in the Primary and Secondary level

• Be observant and responsive to each student’s learning pace and level of understanding.
• Use a variety of teaching methods to cater to different learning styles and ensure active participation in class.
• Mark students’ work and provide additional support to weaker learners.
• Handle classroom administration and maintain proper student records.
• Establish and maintain good relationships with students and parents.
• Provide term progress reports and updates on students’ performance and progress.
• Create and maintain a safe, conducive, and positive learning environment for all students.

• A Degree in any discipline (English or Education-related preferred)
• Minimum 2–3 years of English teaching experience
• Must be an engaging teacher who can capture students’ attention and make learning enjoyable
• Must have a keen eye for observing students
  , understanding their learning needs, and adapting lessons accordingly
• Passionate about helping every child learn with confidence
• Comfortable with the use of technology in class (e.g. Laptop, Projector, tablets)
• Classes available on weekdays from 4 pm onwards and weekends from 10 am
• Must be able to commit for one full academic year (until 30 November 2026)
