Salary: £50,000 – £60,000. Benefits:
Excellent training, holidays, enhanced pension.

Working hours:

Monday–Friday, 8am – 4pm.

Location:

Houghton Le Spring (commutable from Sunderland, Newcastle, Washington, Gateshead, Hartlepool, Newton Aycliffe, Billingham, Peterlee, Consett, South Shields).

Are you an HSE Manager with a Chemical Engineering or Environmental Science degree/background, looking to take ownership of EHS across a specialist manufacturing site?

Within the role, you will oversee site‑wide EHS processes, drive compliance with UK legislation, and support the ongoing development of safe, effective and environmentally responsible working practices.

This position would suit an HSE Manager from a chemical engineering, environmental science or closely related background who is looking for a key role within a stable, forward‑thinking manufacturer.

• Managing and improving site EHS systems, processes and procedures.
• Ensuring compliance with environmental, health and safety legislation.

• HSE Manager / EHS Manager experience.
• Chemical Engineering or Environmental Science degree or background.
• Experience with in a manufacturing environment.
• Commutable to Houghton Le Spring.
