Billing and Account Services Coordinator Position Overview
This role is a hybrid administrative position designed to support our top-performing sales executives by ensuring seamless client service and continuity of Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) practices. The position plays a vital role in maintaining client satisfaction through accurate billing, timely requisition processing, and proactive issue resolution. By strengthening communication across sales, clinics, and internal departments, this role helps drive efficiency, safeguard revenue integrity, and remove administrative barriers that allow our sales team to stay focused on growth and client relationships.
The role requires high attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct additional diagnosis code (DX) follow-up to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Assist with special projects, such as LHCC progress notes follow-up.
- Collect and reconcile missing billing information on requisitions to reduce delays in processing.
- Review and resolve requisition holds each morning for three designated territories.
- Monitor and manage specimen holds and work efficiently to resolve issue with both internal compliance and external customer needs.
- Partner closely with sales executives to support client needs, ensuring smooth onboarding, communication, and issue resolution that directly impacts customer satisfaction.
- 3+ years in healthcare administration, medical billing/RCM, or account management preferred.
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills with the ability to manage competing deadlines.
- Proficiency in healthcare systems (Stratus preferred) and basic office technology.
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with both internal staff and external partners.
