Analyst, Pricing KES

Overview

Marine Systems, Inc. is hiring a Pricing Analyst in our Houma, LA facility.

• Update standard costs for all products based on vendor quotes and variance analysis.
• Adjust item sell prices in response to changes in costs and market conditions.
• Perform new item setups, and update existing items as required.
  • Item descriptions and categories.
  • Approved suppliers.
  • Default bin locations.
  • Item relationships.
• Create and edit bills of material and routings for remanufactured items.
  • Standard hours.
  • Standard scrap rates.
• Identify and research differences between actual and expected costs.
  • Purchase price variance analysis.
    • Purchases from non-approved suppliers.
    • Unreported price changes.

• Review and prepare vendor price files for mass loading into Oracle.
• Interact with purchasing and customer service to resolve cost and pricing issues.
• Other duties as assigned

• Associates Degree or 2+ years of experience in a related field
• Knowledge of Microsoft products
• Ability to communicate by phone, in person, and through correspondence
• Self-motivated and multi-task oriented
