- Ensure patients are well informed and comfortable before, during, and after their appointment
- Take and process dental radiographs, impressions, and intraoral photos
- Prepare and sterilize treatment rooms and equipment
- Provide chair‑side assistance to Providers during treatment procedures
- Document dental care services by charting in patients’ records
- Maintain a clean, sterile, patient‑centric working environment
- Assist with oral surgery once a month
- Six (6) or more months of practical experience as a dental assistant
- CPR or Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification
- Completion of a CODA‑accredited dental assisting program (preferred)
- Quick learner with problem‑solving skills
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
- Technical and troubleshooting skills for software applications used in charting, patient records, scheduling, etc.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and a desire for professional growth
- Organized and possess a superior knowledge of dentistry and dental terminology
