The Offshore Paramedic serves as the primary healthcare provider and emergency responder on offshore platforms, delivering advanced life support and comprehensive primary care to employees, contractors, and visitors. This role oversees all aspects of clinical and medical management within the onsite clinic, ensuring high standards of patient care, accurate documentation, and compliance with International SOS protocols. Responsibilities include conducting consultations, managing medical emergencies, coordinating evacuations, implementing preventative health strategies, and maintaining medical equipment and supplies.
Acting as a critical link in safeguarding offshore personnel, the Offshore Paramedic combines clinical expertise with leadership to uphold safety, health, and operational readiness in remote environments.
We are currently sourcing for a Full‑time Paramedic to work a 28 day on / 28 day off rotation for one of our Offshore vessels. Shifts are 12 hours (on‑call after hours for emergencies). Crew is approximately 200 people. Travel to and from the deployment port in Houma, LA is reimbursable. Candidates must have at least 1 year of previous offshore paramedic experience.
